Shrinking is a comedy-drama series on Apple TV+ created by Bill Lawrence, Jason Segel, and Brett Goldstein. The show centers around Jimmy Laird (played by Jason Segel), a therapist struggling to cope with the sudden death of his wife. Jimmy's grief leads him to neglect his responsibilities as a father to his teenage daughter, Alice (Lukita Maxwell), and to adopt unorthodox methods in his therapy practice. Under the guidance of his mentor, Dr. Paul Rhoades (Harrison Ford), Jimmy navigates complex relationships with his patients, including Sean, a young veteran with PTSD, and Grace, an abused woman.
